Object Mythology is a line of baby alpaca fashion accessories and home furnishings hand-selected by interior designer Karen Chien based on her experiences living in South America.
Motivated by her desire to make a social impact by creating jobs for women in rural Peru, she conceived and developed a product line using the skills of local artisan knitters that includes baby alpaca gloves, scarves and throws. The line has grown to include limited edition private label fashion, home accessories and distinctive, and vintage pieces.
Accelerated Online worked with Karen to produce an ecommerce website to sell Object Mythology products on the web. The site features a store for fashion accessories and home furnishings as well as background on the positive social impact that Object Mythology provides for the groups it works with in South America.
